Bass Lake, Yosemite National Park

Spent a day enroute wandering the old town area of Sacramento, thecapital of Cailfornia. It has a great old town district with so much to seealong the riverfront. Lots of old fashioned entertainment and noveltyshops as well as authentic railway trips and steam boat rides.

Wound our way slowly to the edge of Yosemite national park to our nexthome exchange. A wonderful rustic cabin set in the pine forest on the edgeof Bass Lake. The lake is bustling with summer visitors and the cabin isvery relaxing and quiet. It has an interesting games room with pin ballmachines and a pool table and table tennis table. Let the games begin!

The views are stunning in Yosemite National Park. It contains some of thelargest trees in the world and we spent time meandering through the parkenjoying the spectacular views. It was great to have week long pass andtake our time exploring the sights.
